You can eat chewable deglycyrrhizinated licorice, as many people have stated that it works. It is a herb licorice, which does not have the glycyrrhizin component, which can lead to water retention and high blood pressure. If you have diabetes it might not be such a good idea to take marshmallow, as its sugar content could be high.
