Diet for a Flat Belly

If you ask a woman what she wants more in life, she will tell you that a flat belly would be wonderful, especially after she has given birth. Having a nice body is always a must, but that does not meat you need to be skinny.

No, it means you can look great, even if you have a little more meat on you, having a flat belly is always a dream come true. Well, ladies, this is possible, and you can get your dreamt flat belly by following the Flat Belly diet.

What Is the Flat Belly Diet All About?

First of all, any woman reading this must understand that a diet without the proper exercising cannot lead, single-handedly, to wonderful effects. It is true that there are certain diets which work without exercising, but if you want to lose all that belly flat, you will surely have to engage into some sort of physical activity.

Even though on the cover of the book written by Liz Vaccariello and Cynthia Sass it says that if you follow the Belly Diet, you won’t have to do not even a little crunch. Furthermore, it is said that this diet is able to help you lose about 15 pounds in only 32 days.

The main principle of the Belly Flat diet is related to a 1,600-calorie Mediterranean diet, which puts a lot more emphasis on fruits, vegetable, whole grains, beans, nuts, seeds, very little red meat and as much lean meat as you can eat.

What does the wonder, according to the authors of the diet, seems to be the MUFA added to each meal. MUFA is short for monounsaturated flat and if you add this type of flat to all your meals, you will be able to get rid of all that belly fat and in only a period of 32 days.

What Can I Eat during the Flat Belly Diet?

The best part of this diet is the fact that it can be adapted to your lifestyle. For instance, it does not matter if you are a vegetarian or if you are lactose intolerant, because you will be able to eat exactly the foods which will do you good.

Do not forget about adding the MUFA to all your meals, because it has proven to keep you satisfied for a longer period of time. Eating MUFA for all your meals and for snacks as well is the best way of losing the extra fat on the belly.

In the book, there are presented about 28 interchangeable mix-and-match breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners and you can eat everything that you are told.

The main idea is to eat about 1,600 calories per day, including the MUFA and in a period of only 32 days, you will be able to get rid of the belly fat and to have a flat abdomen for good.

The diet has been tested on 11 volunteers and they have all gotten rid of the belly fat during the time they followed this particular diet.

  • I’ve actually even seen a particular study that divided thousands of participants into a diet-only group and an exercise/diet group. While both groups in this study made good progress, the diet-only group lost significantly LESS abdominal fat than the diet & exercise combined group.
